We are looking for a tech-savvy Jr Start-Up Sales to join our sales team in selling complex scientific and technological products or services. The Jr. Sales Engineer’s responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products’ parts, functions, processes and closing of sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients’ needs.

To be successful as a Jr Start-Up Sales, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company’s technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.

May require a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Lastly, Work with direct supervision of your Start-Up Sales Manager.


Seek and secure additional revenue from existing and new accounts, perform telecommunication needs and offer the platform to possible customers

Stay with current changes and developments of the platform by gathering competitive information on products and services and sharing this information with the team

Manage contract pre and post work and coordinate with legal counsel as required

Interface with, and as needed, give direction to other departments within Packworks to ensure customer satisfaction when services are provided

Develop trusted partner relationships with key customers to retain and grow revenues over time


A bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.

Experience in sales and the technology field.

Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.

The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.

Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

Good leadership and team working skills.
